

Kirk was a member of the United States Army from 1962 to 1985. During the time he served our country, he achieved many milestones and received great accolades. These included a tour in Vietnam, having received a purple heart, and earning the title Retired 1ST SG E-8.
Kirk was married to the love of his life, Donna L. Kelley for 47 years. During his time in the Army they lived many places. Kirk had many joys in life, but many could say that family was his greatest and most abundant source of joy. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Kirk had a lot of interests such as music, bowling, fishing, golf, wood working and family game nights. He was also a member of the retired enlisted association Inc. The Masons at one time and enjoyed the Ham Radio Club.
He is survived by his spouse, Donna L. Kelley (Huff); His Children, Terri L O’Donnell of CO, Lorraine E. Flower of CO, Joy L. Luedemann of IN, Tammy L. Haynes of IN, Malissa M. Frye of IN; His Sister, Cheryl D. Martin of SC; 14 Grandchildren and 22 Great-Grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his Son, Donald Kelley of IL; Parents, Kirk F. Kelley Sr. of IN, Nora Lehr of Washington D.C. and Grandparents, Kirk B. Kelley of IN, Sadie G. Kelley (Morris) of IN.
A funeral service for Kirk will be held Monday, April 15, 2024 at 12:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints, 144 S. Abarr Dr., Pueblo West, CO 81007, followed by a luncheon reception to follow service at 1:00 PM.
Military Honors for Kirk will be rendered the following day April 16, 2024 at Pikes Peak National Cemetery 10545 Drennan Rd. Colorado Springs,CO 80925
