

Lee Romero Jr., age 94 passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Born in the small town of Holman, New Mexico in Mora County to parents Lee and Elvira Romero, Sr. After attending grade school and graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy for two years before his honorable discharge in 1945. After his time in the service, Lee worked for the Federal Civil Service as a security guard and also as a Lead Computer Assistant from Automatic Data Processing and retired after thirty four years. Lee enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Rockies, traveling to the mountains, fishing and frequently visiting his favorite place, Lake San Isabel. Lee is a life member of D.A.V. Steel chapter, honorary member of The Knights of Columbus Council #557, member of Southern Colorado Senior Citizen (SCSC) and Nocturnal Adoration Society. Lee is preceded in death by his parents; Lee and Elvira Romero, Sr.; sister; Caroline Bernal; spouses; Ernestine Romero and Theresa Romero; brother; Nappy Romero. Survived by; Brothers; Felix (Luella) Romero, Alfonso Romero; Sister-in -law; Carmen Romero; stepsons; Steve (Michelle) Earnest, Fred (Lupe) Earnest; grandson Daniel (Nikki) Earnest, granddaughter and best friend; Brooke Earnest, special friend and confidante Reyecitas Lucero, and a numerous nieces, nephews and other treasured family members. A visitation for Lee will be held September 29, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Imperial Memorial Chapel, 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado 81005. A rosary on September 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2827 Lakeview Avenue, Pueblo, Colorado 81005 with service following at 11:00am and with burial immediately after the service at Imperial Memorial Cemetery
