Harv was an amazing gardener and cook and had a passion for both, as well as watching and playing sports. His ability to make anything into a meal or have 4 completely different meals ready at the same time was envied by many. When it came to gardening, Harv could make any flower, vegetable or plant grow indoors or out.
He was best known as Harv Holliday, spending 6 years at KDZA Radio as a sports producer, news producer/announcer and disc jockey. Harv then spent 23 years at KOAA-TV, dividing his time as sports director and sports anchor and earning numerous awards for his sportscasting. After retiring from broadcasting, he tried his hand in the restaurant business in Texas but ultimately returned to Pueblo and finished his career in the car sales industry. He began as a sales and leasing consultant with Dale Spradley Motors in 2002 and was promoted to sales manager with Spradley-Barickman Auto Group from 2006-2012. Harv received 11 awards as Top Sales Performer from 2002-2006.

He is survived by two daughters, Holly and Kayla Cornett; his wife of 18 years Karen Phelps; three grandchildren, Connor, Savannah and Georgia; and three siblings, Carlton Cornett, Lynne Cornett, and Curtis (Polly) Cornett.
