Lois Irene Powers, 81, passed away December 29, 2019. Lois worked as a dietary manager at many District 60 schools. She was a member of majestic Baptist Church in Pueblo West, CO and was involved in many church activities including feeding the homeless, VBS, and women’s groups. She was preceded in death by her parents Jerome and Eva Japhet; her husband of nearly 60 years James Powers; brothers Harry Japhet, Cecil Japhet, and Ivan Japhet; a sister Joetta Wilson; and her son in law Dallas Mills. She is survived by her daughters Judy (Patrick) White, Norma Mills, Bonnie (Desi) Gonzales; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sisters Violetta Anderson and Janet McDaniel; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation Sunday January 5, 3-6 pm, Funeral Service Monday January 6th 10:00 am both at Imperial Funeral Home.
