It's been years since I worked with Lori but what I remember most was just being happy to see her.  She made the evening fun and she was a delight to be around.  Please Lord give her family strength at this tragic time.

Lori worked with us in the ICU and we had many discussions about our kids.  She cared for her family deeply as I found out in our moments together. She always did her best when she worked with us, giving it her all!  
I will "miss you Lori" as we would say in our FB posts to each other.....

I am numb and at a loss. So I'll just say, "Lori, there's 205 days until Christmas cookies." I will miss these warm reminders and your kind and gentle spirit. Rest in peace, my friend.

Lori and I just met last year, but it felt like we formed a life long friendship and bond. I had not seen Lori for months, but on the night of May 18th I went to Life Care with my family to spend time with my mother-in-law who was dying. When we seen each other it was like seeing an old friend. We were so thankful for the  care that she provided for our loved one. When she entered the room she had a calming presence about her and we were all immediately relieved by her presence. When we left that night, I seen Lori in the bingo room by herself doing paperwork. I told my family to give me a few minutes. I told Lori how much I appreciated her and the care she had provided to my mother-in-law. She told me thank you and how much she appreciated hearing that. I am so thankful I took that opportunity to do so. I was so saddened to hear of her passing just days later. I know she loved her family very much! Live your life to the fullest in her honor as she lived her life. God Bless you all and Lori.

I worked with Lori at PMC, she always had a smile on her face, and always had positive things to say, Im gonna miss her, she would sit with me on nights we worked together, so sad for her family, my prayers are with you all. RIP Lori,

I worked with Lori numerous times a different facilities. She seemed to always be working 2 jobs. But always had a smile and encouragement for pts or staff. RIP dear Lori.

Sweet Lori..we go back at least 25 years as we made our way through some long term care facilities and CMHIP. Always a delight to run in to her and we would  catch up on lives, work, children, nursing stories, etc. I so liked Lori. She was..well, safe. Encouraging words, a laugh and a smile.I'm just so taken aback by this loss.  I worried sometimes..she put in so many hours..but never complained.A true Beauty. You are missed my fellow traveler.

Over the years I worked with Lori at several facilities. She impressed me as a dedicated nurse, loving mother & generally kind person. She will be missed by many. My deepest sympathy to her family for such a tragic loss.

I had the pleasure of working with Lori for several years when she supplemented the staff of the ICU at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital. She was always eager to learn and willing to work hard. She treated all the patients and staff with respect and she was a genuinely kind woman. The world needs more just like her, she will be missed.

Lorie and I  worked together at PMC.   She was an amazing nurse and a great person who truly cared about her patients and fellow workers.  She is a bright, fun spirit who will truly be missed.

I've known Lori for almost as long as I lived in Pueblo. We worked together at several different facilities. She was usually working 2 jobs, and was ALWAYS tired, but always had a smile and encouragement. God love you Lori.

I have had the pleasure of workung with Lori at SMC for most of my nursing career. Lori was the kindest most caring person and friend! She was always there for me in my toughest of times! She always made time to lend an ear or a shoulder to cry on! She will truly be missed and thought of often! Thank you  Lori for everything!

I've worked with Lori at 2 hospitals here in town. Most recently at Corwin. If she wasn't assigned to my floor I would see her thru the window at the other tower thru the night.She was comfort to us all from time to time through the storm. She was on one night when a man went to Parkview with a loaded gun to shoot his wife and she blocked off her area to protect her patients while we took care of the situation until the police came... 
She loved to learn and she loved life. She always left things better than she found them. We owe it to her to go on in life and do our best...and in tough times look back she will still lift us up. I will miss her till I see her again...Bonita Garcia-St Mary Corwin

Lori will be missed here at Parkview. Nights she worked were always full of fun, even if the loud was hard. she had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others.  For all her positive works here on earth she will have a special place in heaven. my heart goes out to those who will miss her the most her family.

Lori we only reconnected since January this year  after not seeing each other for many years, but you truly helped me through a trying time in January.  I'm praying for your family.  I know she had pride and love for each of her children because she spoke about them beautifully with me in January.  I know she truly cared for her patients and wanted the best for them.  She loved life, she loved people, she will truly be missed.  Though grief stricken I know she's with our Loving Father In Heaven.  God keep and bless each of your family members and friends.

I still can't believe Lori is gone. We worked many night shifts together at Corwin. She was always willing to help out wherever she was needed. Her positivity was infectious. She will be missed dearly. My sincerest condolences to the family she leaves behind.

My heart is broken, my thoughts and my prayers are with her family. What a tremendous loss. Lori was a great nurse and one of those people you meet in life and love instantly .I am so grateful to have been blessed to know and share time with her. She will be missed and remain in my heart and in my memories for a lifetime.
