

Lucile Belle Lindsay was born Nov. 22, 1922 in Callaway County, MO, to R.B. & Myrtle Belle (Dudley) Stephens and passed to the company of God and her predeceased family on March 22, 2012. She was 89 ¼ to the day. Those who passed before her include her beloved husband, John R. (Bob) Lindsay, sons Stephen E. and Robert R., grandson Christopher Lindsay and son-in-law, Clarence Engelbrecht. She is also now in the company of her Mother and siblings Pauline Shiverdecker, and Richard and Clark Stephens. She is survived by daughters Linda Engelbrecht and Carolyn (Larry) Hajek, brother Jesse Stephens, sisters-in-law Dorothye Thomas and Pearl Stephens, grandchildren, Clarissa (Kim) Boughton, Barbara Lindsay, Shannon (Scott) Bethel, Jennifer (Bill) Zimmerman, Samantha (Michael) Bole, Angela (Casey) Aranda, Suzanne (Danny) Salazar and Kelli and Lonny Hajek great-grandchildren, Nick and Alex Solchenberger, Brandon Lindsay, Josh, Bella, Brady and Miranda Bethel, Danny Salazar, Kay Dee and Casey Aranda, Trish and Liesl Zimmerman and Shandi & Shelbi Hajek.
Lucile was known for her fresh baked bread and cinnamon rolls at every river and lake our dad fished. She was a dedicated homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandma and leaves a hole in the hearts of her loved ones. We wish to thank those at Life Care Center who cared for her.
