Mamie (Mae) Valenti passed away August 21, 2022, she was born in Pueblo, CO., April 23, 1925. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Joseph Valenti Sr., parents Joseph and Mary DeGrado, sisters , Anne Getts and Mary Ann Law, brothers Wayne, Joe and Gene DeGrado. She is survived by her children Mary Jo (Dave) Jones of Broomfield, Co., Nancy (Harold) Bonicelli of Pueblo, Co., Joseph A (Teresa) Valenti Jr., Pueblo, Co.; five grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mae enjoyed the last 12 years at Primrose Retirement Community, where she spent time with her friends, and participated in all the activities Primrose had to offer. We would like to thank the staff of Primrose Retirement Community and Center Care Home Health and Hospice. Mae was greatly loved and appreciated by all of her family who will forever cherish her memory. Services will be held Friday August 26 at 11am at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through the funeral home.
