Maria F. Holland

Maria Holland, 56, of Pueblo, Colorado passed away Saturday January 11th, 2025, at home with her family. She was born in Pueblo, Colorado on October 9th, 1968. She was the only daughter of Dolly and Jim Holland. She attended East high school and worked as a teacher’s aide for District 60 and later in childcare for the YWCA and loved what she did for years. Maria loved to spend time with her grandkids, family, and her boyfriend Kenny. She always had a love for music, there was always music playing in her house no matter the time of day! She was a loyal football fan. She loved her Steelers and Broncos but loved to watch football no matter who was playing. The Super Bowl was like a holiday in our house! lol Anyone who knew my mom knew she loved to cook for people, cooking huge meals for anyone and everyone who came to visit!! She had a huge amazing heart, she was smart, funny and always had something to say! Lol We could never forget, just like Grandma Dolly, Maria loved to have her beers and whiskey especially during football season!! She always loved going for a cruise with her boyfriend Kenny and visiting with friends!

Maria was survived by her boyfriend Kenny her daughters Tosha and Shanae (Anthony) grandchildren Estrella, Antonio Jr., Jalyssa, Xzavyour, Lela, Aven, Emilee (Layah) god daughters Linda (Jordan) Sierra and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends that became family. Maria is preceded in death by her mother Dolly and Father Jim Holland, Special Aunt Lucy, Nino Robert, father in law Greg Valerio and many other loved ones.

A visitation for Maria will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 12pm, with Rosary and Funeral to follow at Imperial Funeral Home. The family invites you to join them for a reception following the service at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1200 Acero Avenue, Pueblo.
