For more than 52 years, Mark was a proud farmer in Swink. He took tremendous pride in his work, and in 1996 reluctantly retired and moved to Pueblo to be closer to family. He left behind the Log Cabin, Co-op and his lifelong farming friends to be a full time grandparent and gardener. Family was his most cherished and celebrated achievement. He was devout in his faith, dedicating much of his life to service to the church. The Estrada household in Swink was a mainstay for parish priests and Catholic school lay teachers and their families. Food and faith were abundantly served. Family dinners, holidays and celebrations always focused on the love of family. Mark was an avid reader and held a high regard for education. His love of knowledge was lifelong. The farmer, rancher, fisherman, golfer, parishioner, hunter, friend, papa, father and husband who traveled these country roads for 91 years is now home. Memorial donations may be made to Posada. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017, Shrine of St. Therese, 300 Goodnight Avenue, Pueblo. CO. Celebrant Monsignor Nunez.
