She graduated Central High School in 1952 and went on to receive an Associate Degree in Arts from Pueblo Junior College in 1957. After graduating she worked at the Start Journal and Pueblo Chieftain for her entire working career until her retirement in 1994. She was a dedicated member of the YWCA, where she taught swimming lessons for many years. She participated in the Pueblo Post-Polio and many support groups in her later years.
She was preceded in death by her parents David C. and Goldie Dale Sullivan and her beloved brother David L. Sullivan.
She is survived by her nephew; David A. Sullivan and sister-in-law, Sylvia A. Sullivan of Mobile, AL, her cousins, Jack Stockton, Pamela Stockton, Larry Lewis and Judy Moore.

She will be remembered for her generosity and genuine concern for others.
