Nora was born March 28, 1927 in San Luis, Colorado where she met the love of her life, Ruben Santistevan. They married in New Mexico, where he lived before he joined the Army and fought in World War II. When he returned, they moved to Pueblo, Colorado. Nora raised her son and was a comforting and caring grandmother to her two granddaughters.
She loved to socialize at Church and enjoyed family gatherings, especially in New Mexico. She also loved wearing beautiful dresses, having her hair done, and wearing her many pieces of jewelry.
Nora is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Jose Ruben Santistevan("Honny"), her son Fred Santistevan, her in-laws who cared for her like a daughter, Celina and Jose Santistevan. She is survived by her loving granddaughters, Michelle Santistevan, Renee Isberg(Pete), and grandson Thomas Isberg.
She is reunited with the love of her life in Heaven in God's Great Love. She is whole again: no more pain, no more forgetting, no more worrying. Nora is now watching over those who loved her and she loved dearly. Thank you to The Chateau at Sharmar staff for their exceptional care of my precious grandma.
