On May 15, 1982, he received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics. On July 1, 1987, Paul received his Professional Engineer’s license from the State of Colorado. He went on to pursue his education with the University of Denver, receiving his Masters of Telecommunications on June 6, 1992. His career years were spent at Public Service Company of Colorado and AT&T as a Professional Engineer where he retired from. As a young child, he mastered playing his electronic accordion and played hymns in church services. Growing up he spent time with his Dad fishing and water skiing with his Uncle Glenn and cousins, as well as riding motorcycles with his cousin Kevin. He treasured his Mom and loved to travel with her. Amongst the many activities he did with his son, Earl, he enjoyed riding dirt bikes together with him. His favorite hobby was being a ham radio operator. He worked on hobby projects and traveled to ham radio events with his friend George Stoll.
Paul is survived by his son, Earl Ray Naumann, age 29, his aunt Iona Naumann, cousins Dan Naumann, Jeanine Ward, Sharon Remmenga, Hali Sikes, Kevin Naumann, and Twyla Cramer.
The graveside service will be held on Friday, May 24 at 11:00 am at Imperial Memorial Gardens, 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado 81005.
