Pauline Maria Arellano

Pauline M. Arellano, (Polly) 88, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2017 in Thornton, Colorado. A Pueblo resident over 65 years and lived the last five years in Thornton, Colorado as a resident at The Villas @ Sunny Acres. Preceded in death by her father, Faustin and mother, Cedelia Santistevan; daughter, Mary Arellano; granddaughter, Shawna Lynn Arellano; husband of 62 years, Avades Arellano; son, Jose A. Santistevan; six sisters and one brother. Survived by her children, John Arellano (Evelyn), Bernie Arellano (Deborah), Wilma Brown and brother, George Santistevan(Bernadette). Blessed with 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was a woman of great faith and loved fishing but especially loved having family gatherings. A few of her hobbies included bingo, making jewelry, ceramics and she loved displaying her artistic skills in coloring. In her last few years she continued to demonstrate a giving spirit and love for helping people. Celebration of Pauline’s life will begin Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 5:30-6:30 pm with a viewing followed by a Rosary at Imperial Funeral Home, 5450 Hwy 78 west. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 10am at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart 414 W. 11th Street. Reception following burial at Zaragoza Hall: 1339 E. Routt Ave
