

Phillip Prutch, 96, born April 6, 1919 passed away September 3, 2015. Preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Grace; daughter, Linda Prutch-Hayes and son-in-law, Charles F. Pullara. Survived by daughter, Carol Pullara and son, Phil S. Prutch; granddaughters, Cheri (Brandon Curless) Pullara, Lori (Brett) Mooring and Traci (Frank) Daurio; great-grandsons, Mason, Casey, Brady and Johnny Mooring and Charlie Daurio; sister, Roseann Henderson of Santa Ana, California; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Eve Taravella and dear friend, Pete Pullara. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Phillip proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. After returning home he resumed his life with Grace on the family farm in Vineland, CO. He was a life-long farmer and owner-operator of Phil’s Market for many years. Phillip was a hardworking, resilient, strong man that showed perseverance in all aspects of his life. Viewing 6-7 p.m., Thursday, September 10, 2015 followed by Rosary Service 7 p.m. both at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Funeral Mass 10 a.m., Friday, September 11, 2015, St. Joseph Catholic Church.
