Richard "Rich" Anthony Torres

Richard (Rich) Anthony Torres was born on October 29, 1981 and joined God on July 6, 2018. He was surrounded by family as he fought a terrible battle. He is preceded in death by his Grammy, Katherine Rodriguez; Auntie Carol Jean Escobedo; and grandparents, Sylvia and Adolph Torres. Rich leaves to cherish his memory his mama, Corrine (Doug) Wilson; sissy and brother, Jenn and Sean Maher; Godparents, Auntie and Uncle, Nadine and Gene Mares; girlfriend, Kyleigh Graston; niece and nephew, Micaela “Roo” and Brendan “Bumble” Maher; step-brother and sister, Elijah and Savannah Wilson; Auntie Michelle Escobedo; Uncle Johnny Escobedo; special “cuzzos”, Mattie (Matthew) and Mase (Mason) Mares, Vince Escobedo, Kris and Marc Escobedo; brothers in friendship, Tim and Ben Trujillo, Victor Segovia, John Fillmore, Karl Sanders the Entourage and a host of family and friends. Rich was born in Pueblo, CO and graduated from Central High School. He enjoyed playing sports; baseball being his favorite, playing music and playing video games. Anyone who knew Rich believed that “Mario” had to be related as he loved Nintendo everything. Rich had a contagious spirit and was a friend to all who met him. He was generous to a fault and placed no value on the material world. Rich lived hard and danced to his own drum thus made no apologies for the beautiful soul he was. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at UC Health-Memorial Hospital North, for their compassionate care.
