

Ronald H. Carara, 77, went to the angels on December 31, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Enos and Estella Carara; and brother, Eugene Carara. Survived by his wife, Florence Carara of 58 years; son, Ricky (Vicki) Carara; daughter, Renee (Dave) Shimanek; grandchildren, Christina Crispi (Antonio Caro), Jonathan (Stephanie) Crispi, Andrew (Ashley) Carara, and Jeffrey Carara; great-grandchildren, Antonio, Monica, Anthony, Giovanni, Ava Ann, Aiden, Khloe and Adrian; brother, Warren (Barbara) Carere; sister-in-law, Wilma Carara; brother, Richard (Shirley) Carara; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ron worked at CF & I Steel Corporation for 40 years as a Mechanical Millwright. He was the 12th man for the Denver Broncos. John Elway was his favorite player of all time. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and traveling with his wife and family. He loved flying to Laughlin to gamble with his friends. He also loved sharing his knowledge of his life experiences with his family. Family would like to thank Dr. Alonzo Pacheco and his staff, also Dr. Charles Kessler and his staff for the wonderful and attentive care of Dad during his fight with Melanoma.
