Ronald Steven Soto passed away January 2, 2025. Born in Lodi, California, he was the son of Pete and Esther Soto. He graduated from Centennial High School and worked at Halliburton of 15 years. He was then a self-employed drywall finisher until he retired. Ron enjoyed fishing and hunting, and will be remembered for his selfless military service and strong patriotism.
Ron is survived by his children Jeanelle Soto-Quintana (Charles) and Tracy Chavez; grandchildren Micaela Giadone (Jordan), Delicia Quintana, Emiliano Quintana, Josiah Lucero, and Miranda Lucero; nine great grandchildren, with two great grandchildren on the way; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, godchildren, and numerous cousins he had close relationships with.
Ron was preceded in passing by his parents Pete and Esther Soto; his brother Salvadore Soto; his sister Rebecca Madrid; his grandson Ryan Lucero, and nephew Brandon Madrid.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 10am at Imperial Funeral Home, with committal services and military honors to follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in the Veterans Court of Honor.
