You were loved, and will be missed, we will miss your many talents, especially the crazy colored afghans and the way you always gave all for friends and family rather it be a few or many.

What can I say about our Aunt Rose, other then she was a fantastic lady, her laughter was contagious, on the other hand if you made her mad you knew what was coming next even though she delivered it with love. I will miss her smiling face, and the way she could always make bad things seem not so bad and good things seem like they were the best things that had happened to you so far. Aunt Rose was one of those types of people that would give you part of what ever it was that she had. I am saddened that I will miss not being able to pick up a phone to call her only to hear her say:(Hi Johnny what's wrong & how can I help you fix it?) or just to tell her how much I miss her.  I do rejoice in knowing that she has been promoted to a better place,and that earth is the only hell that she will ever have experienced.  It is my belief that when you're absent from the body that you are present with the Lord.  Much Love ~ Your Nephew Johnny

Rose was my Mother-in-Law for 16 years.  We remained friends even after my marriage to Don ended.  Rose was a terrific Grandma!  My girls, Shannon & Kristen, loved going fishing with her and always came home loaded up with Hostess Twinkies & Chocolate Cupcakes.  She was one of the most interesting characters I've ever known and I feel lucky she was a part of my life.  I'll miss you Rosie!  Love ~ Sheila

Aunt Rosie's passing is our loss and GOD'S gain. I am Gail Trusty Turnbow. My Mother Billie and Aunt Rosie are sisters.I have so many fond memories. Aunt Rosie and my mother taught me how to crochet and I still crochet to this day. I make and sell crochet items on my website. Aunt Rosie made many many afghans for other folks. Some she gave away and others were sold. A gifted spiritual person that could tell you things. Aunt Rosie is my favorite Aunt.  She came and stayed in Utah, must of been 1973 because I was pregnant with Christina my oldest. We went fishing at Utah Lake and she found a dead body in the water. How strange, They would not let me look because I was pregnant. I remember visiting Colorado when I was young and staying in the house by the school. That was fun. Uncle Walt was there.  Aunt Rosie came to Oklahoma when Daddy died. Later we moved back to Utah and Mom would go stay with Aunt Rosie in Colorado and then Aunt Rosie would come stay in Utah for awhile.
We used to play card games, board and dice games.
I have thought a lot about Aunt Rosie and tried calling her a couple of years back. I always seemed to call at the wrong time and could not seem to connect with her.  Don, Gaylon and Linda may God Bless you always as well as all the rest of your family and friends. Keep you safe. Bring peace and joy into your lives. Love Gail

What a great Lady. I am one of Aunt Rosie's nieces. When I was younger and we went to Pueblo, seems like the kids always gathered at Aunt Rosies. She had a special way about with us. I remember her doing laundry and when it was time to be folded and put away, she would call us all in and make a game of putting it away. Some of us was givin a basket others just carried it. All the areas had a special name she would give us to deliver the wash to. She made it fun to help. I did the same with my kids. We didn't feel as if we were doing any chores.
She always fixed us something to eat no matter how many there was of us. As I grew older and would visit, she never changed. She still would invite you in and fix something. This special lady touched so many lives durning her live time. She was the peacemaker with her brother and sisters. Durning her life time she took care of so many people including her mother and father. I hope God will give her a shade tree next to a great fishing pond loaded with fish a soft rocking chair so she can crochet and sunshine to light her way. She will be happy to be reunited with so many of her loved ones. And missed by so many she has had to leave behind. Aunt Rosie you will be remembered in our hearts and memories. We will miss that special smile and her laughter that always made you laugh too. God Bless You. You are loved by so many and missed greatly. A candle will always be lit for you.
