Susan Denise Romero

Susan Denise Romero passed away at her home peacefully surrounded with family on September 15, 2025. Susie was born on March 17, 1959 in Pueblo Colorado to Simon Trujillo Sr. and Cathy Purdue where she was a lifelong resident. She married her husband Raymond A. Romero on August 27, 1974 in Pueblo Colorado. She was preceded in her passing by her father Simon Trujillo,Sr. and her mother Cathy Purdue.

She is survived by her husband Raymond A. Romero and her two sons Raymond E. Romero Sr. (Monica) and Brian P. Romero. She loved her six grandchildren: Raymond E. Romero Jr., Sarah E. Romero, Hailley L. Romero, Hailyn M. Romero, Brylee R. Romero, Aislyn S. Romero and Great Grandchildren Serenity E. Ramirez and Arnulfo A. Ramirez; and special nephew/son Adam Trujillo and his children, special Aunt Carmen Romero, brother Simon P. Trujillo Jr., sisters Cathy M. Padilla (Freddy), Candy Trujillo, family, and friends.

Susie's big heart always gave her the ability to put a smile on everyone's face during her life. The warmest memories of Susie were her welcoming home, wonderful meals, and her ability to be a confidant of her family and friends. We will miss our visits, long talks, her hugs and kisses.

A public visitation followed by a rosary will be held at Imperial Funeral Home, located at 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, CO 81005, on September 24, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at the same venue from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A graveside service will take place at Imperial Funeral Home from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
