

Terrence (Terry) Cathcart, 78 of Pueblo West passed away on March 2, 2020 at home. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 19, 1941. He was married to Vickie Cathcart on May 9, 1993. He is survived by Brother Fred (Gail) Cathcart, and twin sister Mary Russell. He is also survived by his children Steve Cathcart and Brian (Emily) Cathcart, as well as his stepchildren Zorali (Tom) Burt, Raymond (Cindy) Greywolf and Nichole (Scott) Frazier. He was grandfather of 13, and great grandfather of 9.
He was an OTR driver, mechanic, and worked as Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor at Pueblo West Metro District for 13 years. He then was a Realtor for several years with various companies.
He was a member of Pueblo Pepper Steppers Square Dance Club, Buttons and Bows, Lenny-R-Cycles, and many other clubs in the state. He served in many capacities in the Colorado State Square Dance Assoc. and Southern Colorado Square Dance Association. He also was a member of Pueblo Runners Club and was a part of numerous Spring Runoffs, both as Director and in whatever capacity needed, and was part of the “Funner to be a Runner” program for young runners.
His passions included dancing of all kinds, participating in charity walks and events, especially the Relay for life for the Cancer Society. He loved hunting and fishing, hiking, music and sports. Most of all he loved life, family, and people. If you were his friend, you knew it, and he would do anything he could for you. He loved and was loved fiercely by his wife and family.
There will be a special memorial celebration for him at a later date per his wishes and his wife.
