The entire Rosemount Museum community was saddened to hear of Truman's passing.  Truman was the maintenance man at the museum for many years.  He continued to bring Santa Claus to life every year at the museum's Christmas Open House for members.  Santa was / is a wonderful memory for so many of the museum's members, guests, volunteers and staff.  Truman had an infectious laugh (even more hardy than Santa's) and his smile said everything about him.  His sense of humor, his kindness, and his big heart will always be remembered.  It was an honor to work with Truman and an even bigger honor to be counted as some of his friends.

I'm sad to hear about Truman's recent passing.  He was always willing to help with anything, especially at First Methodist Church where we both attended.  He was a good friend and always down-to-earth.  I'll miss his humor and friendship.  Rest in peace.

We are sad to hear about Truman's passing.  He was always genuine and caring to not only me but to anyone he met.  I was blessed finding out that as a teen, he was praying for a good husband for me.  

After I was engaged, I visited him while he was Santa.  Like any good Santa, he asked me what I wanted.  I replied, "I wanted to have a good marriage."  His response?  "Well, you just let him wear the pants in the family but you pick out which one."

I will miss his good nature ribbing, infectious laughter, and the best hugs.  He was one of the Good Guys.

I am so very sorry to hear of Truman's passing. Truman was a kind, gentle, loving soul. I loved Truman so very much. His kind words and infectious laugh warmed all that knew and loved him.  I felt Truman was like a father figure to me. Always positive, optimistic, and exemplified the love of God whenever you were with him.  You will always be remembered and in my heart. My love, thoughts and prayers for Didi and all of your family.

Truman I am grateful for your love for serving God’s kingdom. Helping anyone and willing to take the shirt off your back. Thank you for all the years pouring into me from a kid to adulthood. Then you poured into my own 2 kids. Making everyone feel valued and appreciated. I’m thankful not only for you, our conversations, but also for your family and Deni! Love you brother and you will be greatly missed. Someday we will have the opportunity to meet again in Heaven!🙏💕✝️

I am truly sorry to see that Truman has passed.  What an incredible man.  Even when he was not feeling well, I never saw Truman without a smile.  When Truman smiled, his eyes just twinkled.  He was a true gentleman and a fantastic "Santa" - he will be missed by so very many.  Please take care - Danita & John

Hi my name is Kendall I haven't talked in a long time but I remember Truman helped drive every youth mission trip almost I went on next Truman was really good he gave me the chance to go on youth missions trips and so many others gave me the chance too Truman was kind loveing joy

You were the best part of  the kids mission trips! You were an absolutely amazing person.  You will be very missed and always loved.

He was a great man fun to be around and joke with now I will have no one to mess around with but he's in a better place I love you and my heart will never be the same without you ❤️ ♥️

As a member of the Men’s Bible Study for over 20 years Truman was a faithful pillar of our group.  He brought much joy and laughter to the group as we studied the Word. He never turned down a request for help, especially widows and the elderly.  He was a joy to the youth and drove them on Mission Trips all over the US..
   We miss you Truman. You were a true friend.

I am so sorry for the sadness and grieving that you are going through.   You were all amazing neighbors to Nick- Brit and to me.   Truman was the one and only person that could teach (and successfully at that) Brittini how to ride a bike!  I will lift you all up in prayer knowing God will bring comfort and love to you all

I’m so sorry to hear of Truman’s passing. We talked often at El Pueblo and at senior facilities at Christmastime while he played Santa and I sang carols. He will be missed.

The smile he gave as I paused in front of him at his parade will warm my soul forever! I am sure God is telling him “Well done good & faithful servant.”  May his  kind, happy & generous heart will live on in each of us as we share our memories of Truman.

My dad was a great man. We had the best childhood ever. Dad truly was the most active dad ever. I remember many stories with Dad. One of many was when we lived in Craig, CO we got so much snow up there that the elk where not able to eat. So the local farmers where asked to help feed them. So Dad being how he is got in his snow machine and sled and loaded up a bunch of hay. Jared and I of course went with him to help feed. It was so much fun. I will truly miss Dad. If I am half the man, husband, and dad he was I will be doing good. I can go on forever on stories and memories of my first hero. I will truly miss you dad. I hope you are hunting and riding your motorcycle in heaven with Jimmy. I love you dad. I will see you again.
