I was unable to stay for the luncheon, but I wanted you to know I will miss your Dad. I loved his bombastic style. He was always gracious even when he was in pain. He knew my Dad form the 40 inch mill. 
Now you must take care of yourself.   Stress is not your friend.

I was deeply sadden when the word of your father's passing reached me.
I found it hard to believe a great friend of 46 years was gone.
It is difficult to write without bringing on a flood of memories to mind of the many things I experienced with your family and how some of those memories have helped me in my life.

I only new you for a very short time, but I felt a very strong friendship from the start. There was always a smile, a handshake and the wormth of a sincere friend. It is certian you will be missed.

It's hard for me to say anything about "papa"... Everything I can think of feels like an understatement or falls short of his worth. He was a family man, a mentor, counselor, and a friend to all.  With a smile and a slow wink I remember the "welcome home" or "good to see you boy" I felt every time I saw him.  The memories I have of him I will keep in my heart. The lessons I learned I will share with my children. The love I received I will try to pass along in the same way he did.  I will miss you "pops".

Dad, I love you oh so much. I'm already so lost without you, but comforted knowing that you are with mom. Thank you so much for everything from the emotional support to the importance of "family time." Life will never be the same.

Papa I love you so much and you were the most important person in my life. I'm not sure how I'm going I live my life without you but I know you will give me strength to do so. I never thought this day would come and always knew how hard it would be. Thank you papa for helping me become the man I am today. Now that your in a better place watch down on us. I have knowen you and your family since I was just a kid and as it turned out your grandson and my daughter meet and are getting married. I always thought a lot of you, you and my dad were good friends and I will miss you and your wit every day have peace and tell dad hi! Peace and love to the family I love you all.

Papa, I can't thank you enough for all you have done for me. You accepted me into your family, loved me as if I was your own, and always supported me. Your smiling face and wonderful personality always made my day. Everyweek I looked forward to our random family dinners and just hanging out at your house eating chocolate covered peanuts. Thank you for being the grandpa I always wanted and for filling that void.  Say hi to my other grandpas for me, I know I  have 3 of the best guardian angels! I love and miss you so much!!

Hi Papa! I have been blessed in many ways in my life and i count you as one! You took me and my sister in as if we were your own and no words will ever express my thanks for that! Your sage is taking this very hard but he says that you'll be with him always as we know you will be! I love you Papa and i hope that your having a great time in paradise.  I miss you and will see you again someday!
