Allen Dean Pardon, born March 27th, 1930 in the Young’s Chapel community of Giles County, TN passed from this life at his home in Lewisburg, TN on December 19th, 2025 at 95 years of age. His parents were William Forrest and Annie Belle (Bevels) Pardon. In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his wife of 43 years Margaret Ann Pardon (Parks) in 1997, his two sons David and Phillip Pardon, his nine brothers Howard, Horace, Thurman, Tobe, Elbredge, Brown, John, Carl, and Spear Pardon, his six sisters Ruth Holley, Lois Pardon, Ethel Jarratt, Larstine Oliver, Jean Edwards, Nancy Sumners and his son in law Donald Fleming. He is survived by his daughter Roxanne Fleming and daughter in law Anne Pardon. His four grandchildren are Kelly (Joe) Alexander, Alana (Mitch) Lyle, Whitney Fleming and Alan Pardon. His four great grandchildren are Maggie and David Holden, and Emma and Hailey Lyle.
Dean attended Bunker Hill Church of God and served in the United States Army from 1950 to 1953. He farmed all his life until 1955 when he went to work at the Lewisburg Tribune. He started preaching in 1963 and continued on in different congregations in Giles, Lawrence, Marshall and Lincoln Counties for 50 + years. Dean loved farm animals and farmed again in his later years. He also loved his family, music, laughter, and pecan pie. Dean was a life well lived in God’s service and he will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Saturday December 27, 2025 11am-1pm at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with the service to follow at 1pm. Burial will be in Diana Cemetery after the funeral.
