Alton H Johnson

Alton was born In Ocilla, GA on January 23, 1934 to Courtney John and Vester Emma Wells Johnson. He was a United Army Veteran, a truck driver for Rogers Group and had a love of western movies, western clothing and collecting gold pocket watches. Alton had a passion for country music, anything John Deere, being outside landscaping, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed cooking and making paper hats for his grandchildren and Walmart customers where he was a greeter. Alton was preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia Ann Johnson, daughter Elizabeth Ann Johnson Shirifi, and sister Jean Garfield.

Visitation will be 12-1pm Saturday December 2, 2023 at First Baptist Church Pulaski with a Memorial Service to follow at 1pm.

Alton is survived by his soul mate Katharine Bryant, sons Dean Andrew Johnson (Sue) and Alan Harold Johnson, bonus daughters Jennifer Bryant Mendez, Mary Ramsey Bryant Phillips, Grayson Carter Bryant Pursch, brother Braxton Johnson, sister Dorothy Hampton, grandchildren Andrew, Amanda, Ashley, Adam, Austin, Angel, Jessie, Brandon, Allie, and Shawne, as well as numerous great grandchildren.
