She was born in Rose Hill Community in Giles County on March 28, 1928. She is preceded in death by her parents, Abner Brinkley Helton and Sudie Fire Pilkington, her husband, Grady Eugene Nelson, her son Ron Nelson, and her brother, Jimmy Helton.
She is leaving behind her daughter, Janet Rose and husband Calvin of Lawrenceburg, TN, her sister-in-law, Mary Jean Helton of Pulaski, TN, her 2 grandchildren , Jason
Rose and wife Cori, and Kevin Rose and wife Wennie, and her 4 great-grandchildren, Ava Rose, Leda Rose, Braden Roll and Abigail Rose.
Visitation will on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 12p.m. until the Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with the Burial to follow at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
