Mr. Hardy was born October 12, 1937 in Columbia, TN to the late Clyde and Wilma Cobb Hardy. He worked for the aerospace industry in Huntsville, AL and was co-owner of Hardy Machinery. He owned and operated Bunker Hill Antiques after retirement.
Visitation will be Friday April 10, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 1 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Chapel with interment in Maplewood Cemetery.
The family request for memorials to be made to the Ray Holt Memorial Scholarship Fund or the Trent Holt Scholarship Fund.
Survivors include his wife Kay Holt Hardy of Ardmore, daughters Hope Lanier of Pulaski, Mary Hicks of Waynesburg, KY, step-son Billy T Melson, step-daughter Rochelle Woods of Birmingham, brother Ron Braxton Hardy of Huntsville, sisters Wanda Darnall of Arlington, TX, Barbara Puryear of Pulaski, seven grandchildren, and four step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
