She loved children and would take any around her under her wing and spend time with them and try to enrich their lives. She also loved flowers; her yard and house were always full of different types of flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Solon Ferrell James Jr., her daughter, JoAnn (Jodi) James, her sister, Pauline Eakins, her brothers, Sylvester McIntyre, Jim Mack, and Homer Gallaher, her mother, Mary Chapel Gallaher McIntyre Robinson, and her father, Hugh Dick McIntyre.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet James Cozart of Pulaski, TN, her grandson, Jonathan Cozart, her step-granddaughter, Danielle Cozart, honored grandson, James Pinkelton, her son-in-law, Rich Drickler of Florida, and several other special cousins, nieces, and everyone else she loved.
A special thank you to the employees at NHC and the Hospice nurse. You took really good care of Dorothy, she was happy and surrounded with love.
