She was born in Limestone County, AL on August 23, 1932 to Russell and Minnie Pitts Carter, and was a retired Nurse. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. (Bob) McGill, her sons, Steve and Jeff McGill, her sister, Betty Carter Harrison, and her brother, Billy Carter.
Visitation will be on Sunday, February 25, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home where Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include her sister, Sarah Hargrove of Elkton, TN, 4 nephews, 3 nieces, her grandchildren, Alex McGill and Melody, Andy McGill, Natalie McGill, Ryan McGill and Emily, her great grandchildren, Kendell and Jordan Pierce, Ashton McGill, Jaxson and Nilah Olivia McGill, Gavin and Carsten Christy, and a very special caregiver, Betty Sue Campbell.
