Esther Pearl Rose

She was born October 19, 1922 in Giles County to the late Johnnie and Clara Felker Thurman. She was a homemaker and loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens. She was preceded in death by her husband Forrest Rose, sister; Azalea Hamsley, Louise Faulkner, Polly White, Dot Anderson, Brother Gilbert Thurman and son-in-law Pete Watson.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday November 16, 2017 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Dunavant and Rev.James Nave officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday November 15, 2017 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.

Survivors include sons: Don Rose Calvin Rose and wife Janet of Campbellsville , Stanley Rose and wife Vivian of Pulaski, daughter Linda Watson of Bunker Hill , grandchildren ; Jason Rose , Kevin Rose , and Amanda Whaley , 5 great grandchildren and a special lifelong friend Joyce Hamlett Godwin.

Memorial donations may be made to the Tennessee Baptist Childrens Home, 1310 Franklin Rd., Brentwood TN. 37207 or to The Rose Hill Cemetery Fund.
