Mr. Swanner was born September 26, 1936 in Lester Alabama to Floyd Harvey and Ida Mae Richardson Swanner. He was a retired construction worker and preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Lisa Ann Taylor and brother JC McGlocklin.
Visitation will be Sunday September 15 2013 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday September 16, 2013 at Carr & Erwin Chapel with interment in Giles Memory Garden.
Survivors include his wife Doris Swanner, sons Phillip Anthony Swanner and wife Reneigh, Michael Wayne Swanner and wife Debra all of Pulaski, brothers David Swanner of Minor Hill, Roy Swanner of Anthony Hill, Wayne Swanner of Prospect, Fred McGlocklin of Missouri, sisters Juanita Lawrence of Minor Hill, Sally Haynes of Athens, six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
