His parents were the late James Harlan and Leona Irene Tennison Hargrove. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, James Louie, John Wesley, Michael, and Carl Hargrove, and his sister, Etha Mae Deason.
Survivors include his sisters Peggy Adams of Anderson, Faye Wise of Goodspring, Frances Scott of Goodspring, and Carolyn Robertson of Goodspring, his sister-in-law Pat Hargrove of Pulaski, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2017 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Burial will follow at Shores Memory Gardens.
