He was born in Centerville, TN on June 19, 1929, a retired security guard, served in the National Guard, his parents were the late Clarence Washington and Ruth Elizabeth Austin Jones , preceded in death by a sister, Jean Locke.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 11-5-2011, at 2:00PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial in Giles Memory Garden.
Visitation will be on Friday from 4PM to 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Survivors are: wife, Elise Durham Jones of Lawrenceburg, TN, son, William Bill Jones and Tracy of Georgia, step son, Morris Durham Pulaski, TN, daughter, Brenda Adams of Pulaski, TN, step daughter, Pam Talluto and Dennis of Michigan, brother, Paul Jones of Pulaski, TN, sister, Betty Sue Cox of Lawrenceburg, TN, 5 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 step great grandchild, 3 great, great grandchildren, 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
