Janice Mae Popejoy

She was born in Minor Hill, TN on November 27, 1947, retired owner of Jan’s Restaurant, member of the Baptist Church, preceded in death by parents, Clinton Talmadge and Tennie Lucille Harwell Adams, sons, Donald Ray Adams and Steven Dean Adams, daughter, Lora Ann Newton, grandson, Clifford Adams, step daughter, Melody Ann Escue, brothers, Gene Austin Adams, Gary Adams, Bobby Adams and Roger Adams, sisters, Margaret Cheatham and Beverly Robinson.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery in Cornersville, TN.

Survivors are: husband, Bill Popejoy of Pulaski, TN, son, Billy Wayne Adams and wife Sherry of Pulaski, TN, daughter, Teresa Clayton and Mike of Summertown, TN, brothers, James Adams and Peggy of Oak Grove Community, Phillip Adams of Oak Grove, sisters, Barbara Perkins and Johnny of Pulaski, TN, Kathy Dickey and Garry of Pulaski, TN, Carol Caldwell and Lynn of Spring Hill, TN, Betty Jo Howell and Ray of Columbia, TN, 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family toward funeral expenses.
