Jimmy was born May 26, 1946 in Pulaski, TN to John Alfred and Ethelene Storey Bass. He attended Cedar Grove Methodist Church, was a member of the American Legion, was a former Ambulance Driver in Huntsville, AL, and was “semi-retired” from Napa Auto Parts. In his spare time he loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, if he couldn’t be outside he was watching Nascar. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents John and Ethelene Bass, sister Ann Bland, sister-in-law Billie Faye Bass.
Visitation will be 11 am - 1 pm Friday January 30, 2026 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with Funeral to follow at 1pm, interment will be in Giles Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Giles County Humane Association.
Survivors include his wife Sandra Bass of Pulaski, brothers Jon Bass (Polly) of Hazel Green, AL, Bill Bass of Fayetteville, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
