Jimmy was born November 24th, 1952, in Pulaski, TN, to J.H. (Boss) Shrader, and Lucy Lurline (Watts) Shrader, who preceded him in death. He was a lifelong resident of Giles County, spending most of it in the Rose Hill community. Being the son of a "sawmill man", Jimmy had to learn how to work at an early age. After working at the sawmill for several years, he started working in the woods as a logger. He worked full time until 2012, and part time until the middle of 2025.
As he got older, he decided to give himself to Jesus, and is a member of the Lord's Church. He loved the Lord, and was eager to attend church as much as he could.
Jimmy is survived by three sons, Jimmy Shrader, Jr, Joshua Shrader, and Justin (Emily) Shrader; mother of children, Pam Watts; two sisters, Deborah Jackson and Vickie (Rick) Burdette; brother Harlie (Misty) Shrader; grandchildren, Carson Shrader and Rylan Shrader; and several nieces and nephews.
Jimmy loved his family. Some of his proudest moments in life were the births of his grandchildren, Carson and Rylan. He loved to see them as much as possible. Casual visits, planned fishing trips, ball games, you name it, he was there. Jimmy also loved his friends. He cherished every minute he had with them, often visiting for long periods of time. He also loved his extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
As a whole, we all already miss him dearly, and are so thankful for the memories we shared with him.
