Mr. Shelton was the son of Duward M. and Emma Mae Wall Shelton. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Russel Shelton, two sisters Patricia Shelton and Emma Jean Garner.
Visitation will be Friday November 11, 2011 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Memorial service will be 7 p.m. Friday November 11, 2011 at Carr & Erwin Chapel with Debbie Eubanks officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Survivors include his wife Brenda J. Shelton of Killen, Alabama, daughter Elizabeth Douthit and husband Kenneth of Dellrose, granddaughter Addison Douthit of Dellrose, sisters Sharon Smith and husband Estel of Goodspring, Mary Ann Glover and husband Glen of Pulaski, Brenda Shelton of Ardmore, brother-in-law Loyd Garner of Pulaski, several nieces and nephews also survive.
