Mr. Jones was the son of the late Morris Andrew and Margaret Helen Johnson Jones. He was preceded in death by his first wife Linda Smith Jones.
Visitation will be Saturday October 9, 2010 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will be 4 p.m. Sunday October 10, 2010 at Carr & Erwin Chapel with interment in Stella Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Survivors include his wife Esterlene Jones of Minor Hill, daughters Michelle Collier of Athens, Marla Dresser of Ashville, Alabama, Marsha Tucker of Minor Hill, step daughter Vicki Henry of Oak Dale, Tennessee, step sons Clint Wise of Pulaski, Jeff Wise of Prattville, Alabama, Bart Wise of Minor Hill, brothers Eddie Jones of Pulaski, Larry Jones of Minor Hill, sister Sue Russell of Minor Hill, six grandchildren, six step grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
