Kathleen Cross Aldred

Kathleen Cross Aldred, 88, formally of Mt. Juliet, TN passed away August 8th. She was the daughter of the late Melvin Carver Cross and Lou Ellen Carpenter (Cross) of Pulaski, TN. She is survived by her son, William L. Aldred, Jr (Rebecca) of Clarksville, TN; his children (grandchildren) Dr. Jason L. Aldred, M.D. (Alison); Matthew R. Aldred (Laura), Dr. Patrick W. Aldred, M.D. (Alisha), and Sarah R. Aldred (Michael Ronan). Kathleen is also survived by her daughter Donna White of Edgewater, FL and her children (grandchildren) Jessica K. White and a beloved late granddaughter Tara N. White (Bruderly), (David). She has seven great grandchildren Sophie, William III, Beatrice and Elliot Aldred; and Kaylee, Tanner and Alden Bruderly.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her late husband William L. Aldred, Sr to whom she was married for 59 years. She was a Girl Scout Leader for many years, member of the Eastern Star, and she and her husband were active member of The First United Methodist Church in Hermitage, TN for 38 years. Kathleen was a devoted housewife and mother who valued family. She and her husband enjoyed camping, traveling, boating, church activities, and time spent with family.

Visitation will be at the Carr and Erwin Funeral Home in Pulaski, TN on Saturday August 16th at 1 pm (with service at 3pm) followed by interment at the Lynnwood Cemetery in Lynnville, TN, where Kathleen will be buried beside her late husband William Aldred, Sr.
