He was born in Pulaski, TN on December 3, 1949, a Veteran of the United States Navy, and retired from Johnson Control. His parents were the late Arnold Clifford and Willie Lou Townsend Word.
Visitation will be on Friday from 4PM to 8PM at the Minor Hill First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 4-13-2013, at 10:00AM at the Minor Hill First Baptist Church, with burial in Minor Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Minor Hill First Baptist Church.
Survivors are: wife, Gayle Fox Word of Minor Hill, TN, sons, Allan Word and Jonathan Word and wife Cassie all of Minor Hill, TN, grandchildren, Hunter, Josh, Jerimiah and Brandi Word, Santana Stevenson and Seth Word.
