He was born in Morgan County, AL on 6-24-1926, retired from Fafnir, served in the US Army during World War II, his parents were the late Willis Henry Simpson, Sr and Elizabeth Coleman Simpson, he was preceded in death by brothers Willis and Stacy Simpson and sister, Auleen Mooney.
Memorials may be made to the Cedar Grove United Methodist Church, 175 Ray Holt Road, Pulaski, TN 38478.
Visitation will be on Friday from 4PM to 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, 1-14-2012, at 11AM at the Maplewood Cemetery.
Survivors are: wife, Geneva Simpson, son, Richard and Christy Simpson ,daughter, Amy and Mike Pitts all of Pulaski, TN, brother, Carroll and Virginia Simpson of Decatur, AL, grandchildren, Katie, Shane and Ryan Pitts, Colby and Catherine Simpson.
