He was born in Giles County, TN on 4-25-1926, retired from Fafnir, his parents were the late Wilburn Claude Cole, Sr. and Myrtle Thompson Cole, served in the US Army during World War II.
Visitation will begin at 11AM on Wednesday,1-19-2011, until funeral time at 3PM on Wednesday, burial will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in honor of Ryan Breedlove or Vanderbilt Epilepsy Center.
Survivors are: wife, Virginia Gaines Cole of Shores Community, sisters, Allene Maultsby of Nashville, TN, Mary Alice Holt of Montgomery , AL, Dot Ricther of Knoxville, TN, several nieces and nephews.
