He was born in Giles County, TN on November 1, 1932, worked at Giles County Highway Dept. for 34 years, his parents were the late William Henry Hurd, Sr. and Zelma F. Edwards Hurd.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 4PM to 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home .
Funeral services will be on Friday, 8-24-2012, at 1:00PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial in Giles Memory Garden.
Survivors are: wife, Hazel James (Maw) Hurd, Prospect, TN, son, William Keith Hurd of Prospect, TN, 2 step sons, Anthony James and wife Bonnie of Hohenwald, TN, James Davis and wife Crystal of Prospect, TN, daughters, Renee Meadows and husband Kerry of Prospect, TN, Linda Dison and husband David of Elkmont, AL, step daughter, Terry Brown and husband Butch of Harvest, AL, special buddy, Brandy Wilson, 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
