Gerald Thomas Landy

Gerald Thomas Landy, 85, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Jerry was born on June 3, 1939 in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania to James W. Landy and Nellie R. Miller. He grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and raised his family in Baltimore, Maryland.

He lived a life full of love, kindness and dedication to his family and friends. Having founded Village Grafix / Autographics together with his wife Mary, he built it into an innovative printing and marketing company. Jerry enjoyed fishing, boating and cooking with his many grandchildren in Delaware. In retirement, he and his wife spent time travelling and relaxing in Florida.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Landy (Nee Miller), his children Terry (Buddy), Joe, Chris (Tom), Michelle (David), and John (Yasmin) 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, his brother-in-law Bub, as well as many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his son Jerry.

A funeral mass will be held on February 28, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission Church, 35318 Church Road, Frankford, DE 19945 at 11:00 AM, followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. 32112 Vines Creek Road, Dagsboro, DE 19939.

A luncheon will be held after to continue celebrating Jerry’s life.
