

Linda Correll, 71, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. Linda lived most of her life in Punta Gorda after being born in Bluefield, West Virginia, to her parents James and Billie Jean, who preceded her in death.
Linda shared a beautiful life with her husband, Les Correll. They were married for 55 years and built a life filled with love, dedication, and family. Together they raised three boys Jimmy, Kevin, and Daniel. Daniel preceded her in passing. Linda’s greatest joy in life was being a wife and mother, and her love for her family was endless.
For over 35 years, Linda worked as a school bus driver for Charlotte County Public Schools. She took pride in her work and cared deeply for the children she safely transported each day. Many students and families remember her kindness and friendly smile.
Linda loved animals and especially enjoyed feeding the birds, squirrels, and rabbits that visited her yard. Watching and caring for them brought her great peace and joy.
Above all else, Linda loved her husband and her boys more than anything in the world. Her family was her heart, and she devoted her life to caring for them and making sure they always knew they were loved.
Linda leaves behind her loving husband of 55 years, Les Correll; her sons Jimmy Correll and Kevin Correll; Kevin’s wife, Sally; and her grandson, Gavin. She is also remembered by many friends and extended family members who will miss her deeply.
A visitation will be held March 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Linda’s final resting place will be at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, 27200 Jones Loop Road, Punta Gorda, Florida. A reception will follow at 9025 Alfred Blvd, Punta Gorda, Florida.
Linda will always be remembered for her kindness, her love for her family, and the quiet joy she found in caring for the world around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
