

Patricia Jane Bullert, age 64, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in Port Charlotte, FL. She was born September 10, 1956 in Faribault, MN to Robert Lewis Dubé and Patricia Ann Brucher Dubé. Pat attended both Catholic and Public schools in Faribault. She was a member of knitting clubs and groups where she taught knitting and crocheting and formed many friendships. Pat also loved horseback riding and was a part of many clubs and groups who loved to ride as well. Pat started her love of horses from her grandfather, who drove and rode buggy horses to the Dairy Queen. With her riding experience, Pat also had a New Mexico license to drive a team of horses and mules with a carriage or wagon and attended many parades, bringing smiles to the townspeople as she rode by. She was also the Cannon Valley trail ride leader for many years. Pat liked to help her father by working on patterns for metal arts in her spare time. Those who knew Pat best would say that she was caring, loving, happy, friendly, helpful, had a concern for others, and was outgoing. Pat was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband, Bruce R. Bullert; her son, Kevin (Jen) Anonby Jr.; stepchildren, Maren and Benjamin Bullert; grandchildren, Garrett, Brittany, and Derrick; great granddaughter, Emersyn; brothers, Jeffrey L. Dubé, Robert L. Dubé, Jr., Walter A. Dubé, Gregory Dubé, and Joseph R. Dubé; sisters, Barbara G. Handahl, Sandra M Dubé- Messerich, and Roberta M. Furland; she also had 29 first cousins. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 4-7 pm at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home; 635 E. Marion Ave., Punta Gorda, FL 33950. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice or like Pat would do, do a good deed for someone in memory of her.
