Edna May Stewart

Born May 27, 1927 in Tacoma, Edna graduated from Annie Wright School and later married John Shilley. Together, they had six children. Later in life, she was remarried to Donald Stewart and the pair made their home in Puyallup.

Edna was a faithful Christian and long-time member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Tacoma. She was a member of the choir and well-known for her lovely soprano singing voice. She also enjoyed performing in musicals and was an avid bowler. She later attended All Saints Catholic Church in Puyallup.

She is survived by her six children, Tom (Linda) Shilley, Greg (Becky) Shilley, Doug Shilley, Joan (Steve) Ross , Gary (Shelby) Shilley & David Shilley, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Lloydine Haveard of Pensacola, Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Denaige and Lloyd Russell, and her sister Alice Thorne.

A Funeral Mass and Memorial for Edna will be held on Saturday, December 17th at 11:00 AM at All Saints Catholic Church in downtown Puyallup. She will be inurned at Calvary Cemetery in Tacoma.
