Guenther Pehlke was born on July 10, 1932 in East Germany. He immigrated to the United States in the 1950’s with his family and resided in Pennsylvania. He later traveled to Southern California where he met and married his wife, Elisabeth, in 1960. Guenther and Elisabeth started their family in California and later moved to Kent, Washington where they remained until 2015. Guenther is survived by Elisabeth, his daughters and their husbands Anita and Val, Caroline and Jeff, his grandchildren Terisa, Trisha, Alan, Brianna, and Sarah, his great grandchildren, his sister Ruth, his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed music, the outdoors, and organic gardening.
