Herbert Krause

Herbert G. W. Krause Age 78, was called Home on September 7, 2012, with his loving wife, Anneliese of 54 years, by his side in Tacoma, WA. Herbert was born on January 16, 1934 in Germany, to Erich and Frieda Krause. He immigrated to the United States in 1956 to pursue his dreams. He served for a time in the United States Army which brought him to his home in Tacoma and was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for 50 years. He was the president of Pierce County Housing Assoc and board member/ partner of the Hi-Ho Shopping Center of Puyallup. He is survived by his spouse, Anneliese; two siblings, Helga and Heinz; three sons, David, Gary, and Bernard; and six grandchildren. Viewing is at Powers Funeral Home Wednesday, Sept. 12 from 2:00-8:00. There will be a graveside military service at Tahoma National Cemetery on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 10:00am and a Memorial service Friday, Sept. 14 at 2:00pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. All who knew Herbert are invited to attend.
