In 1988 she and Richard sold their Orting home, and built a new home in Edgewood, WA. Lois enjoyed flower gardening very much. Her yard was always well kept and beautiful. Lois enjoyed lots of different craft projects, and later in life she began making quilts. She loved looking at fabric and putting it together in beautiful quilts. Lois had a total of five grandchildren. Erik, Michael, Anthony, Bradley, and Curtis . She would often collect all five of the grandkids and keep them for the day. Sometimes they would all go to the park, and then go to “Grandma’s and Papa’s” to make biscuits for dinner, use the sewing machine and shoot the bb guns, were just a few of the things to do there. Lois was a warm and caring person. She loved her family, she hosted many family gatherings at their Edgewood home. She was a awesome Mother and Grandmother. She knew how to love deeply and give generously. She is gone but not forgotten.
