

Paul Ray Cavin, 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Orting WA on Friday, November 1, 2013, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease and lung cancer. Born to the late RayAnn and Paul A. Cavin in Cincinnati, OH on September 24, 1949, Paul served his country in the Navy before becoming a certified welder. He is survived by Sandy Cavin, his beloved wife and best friend of 32 years, along with children Deanna, Kassandra, Matthew, Mickey, and Patricia: sisters Karen, Marsha, and Patricia: brother John, and a loving extended family. "Papaw" is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, whom he adored beyond words. Paul made Washington State his home for the last 22 years, and never met a stranger. A proud Navy veteran, Paul will be accorded military honors at a commitment ceremony at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA on November 15, 2013 at 1:30 PM. Burial will be scheduled at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery in Glendale, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Paul Ray Cavin Memorial fund are gratefully accepted at any 5/3 Bank (Ohio).
